Gamers have been busy raiding enemy lines with the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" April update 1.09.

The update which was released by Treyarch for Playstation during the early part of the third week of April was also made available for launching on Xbox One on April 21.

The April update 1.09 is one of the larger patches of the game. The patch goes over 1 GB in size, a large file that may be considerably smaller when compared to the "Black Ops 3" maps, which have to come in a separate DLC file that usually goes around 7 GB in size.

According to a post by Gottabemobile, there have been a few issues in the game that allowed users to use "Black Ops 3" cheats to gain various advantages including hacks that help the player level up. The 1.09 patch brings with it a varied set of hotfixes for the unusual hacks in the game.

With the update, gamers can now get the Arena Season Vet Vanquisher Calling cards to unlock properly and the Prestige Calling Cards to properly display within the Calling Cards Menu. The patch is recommended for gamers who enjoy using multiplayer mode, campaign mode and even zombies mode as it fixes a few errors in gameplay like the greyboxes and NX SHadwoClaw mixup and the error where the BlackCell projectile doesn't properly hit UAV's.

However, there were some differences in the features made available in the 1.09 patch for the Xbox One and PC platforms when compared to the one in the PS4. Apparently, though the fixes were mostly similar for all three gaming platforms, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" April update for PC and Xbox One failed to include the preparations for the Eclipse DLC.

Some believe that it may come in the "Black Ops 3" update for May instead.
