iPad Mini 5 is one of the most anticipated devices among Apple enthusiasts despite the fact that the company is reportedly focusing all its efforts on the next-generation MacBook Pro, which is believed to be released before 2016 ends.
This has sparked rumors that the MacBook Pro 2016 is the reason why iPad Mini 5 will be delayed, University Herald reported. Nevertheless, enthusiasts keep their hopes up that the Mini 5 will be released alongside the equally anticipated iPad Pro 2.
One particular rumor claims that the next iPad Mini will be launched next year. It will boast a 7.9-inch Retina display, similar to the current model. And since the company is gearing toward thinner and lighter versions, the gadget's shell may come with 7000 series aluminum shell and will 1 mm. thinner size.
Moreover, according to JBH News, there are three variants of Mini 5 based on the display size. Aside from the 7.9-inch iPad, there will also be the 10.1-inch and 12.9-inch variants.

As for the price, enthusiasts forecast it may be priced at around $412, but the price could be higher.
