It was just last week when Jill and Jessa Duggar surprised the whole world about their pregnancy plans, which went viral online. Now, rumors say they are planning their pregnancy to boost ratings.
The season finale showed the sisters' family reunion in Central America. As expected, the topic of having future babies came up. A scene from an orphanage in El Salvador, located near Jill and Derick's, caused rumors about their pregnancy as they mentioned it in their future plans.
The scene sparked rumors that Jessa is planning to adopt a child soon. However, they did not make efforts to dispel the rumors except for when they said that they plan to be pregnant-buddies in case.
"Which of the two of you will have your second child first?" asked the producer, Hollywood Gossip cited.
"It's hard to say," Jessa said.
Jill answered, "I think we will probably be pregnant at the same time, but to say who will be first, well Israel is older... so we will see."
Some fans believe that Jill is already carrying her second child while others say the duo are planning to adopt.
"I'm not pregnant yet, that's the question everyone keeps asking me. Not yet," Jill said. "I feel like we will have another child. I just don't know how. It will probably be a naturalized citizen of the family."
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" was about to get canceled during its first season so speculations that the girls planned their pregnancy to boost the ratings of the second season started circulating. The ratings of the TV show have been consistent so far, but several advertisers pulled away due to Josh Duggar's controversy.
The dual pregnancy, according to the publication, may have been planned by the sisters to keep TLC interested in airing their show. The show has not been officially renewed for another season.
