After the grim but explosive season finale of "Star Wars Rebels" season 2, fans are dying to wait and see what would become of young padawan Ezra and the Ghost crew in season 3. Would Ezra allow himself to be swayed to the Dark Side? Would Kanan be able to fight despite the loss of his sight? What about Ahsoka?
Would "Star Wars Rebels" fans ever see her again after the battle with her former master, Anakin Skywalker turned Darth Vader? Ultimately, fans would just have to wait and see. However, to the the delight of fans creator Dave Filoni went out and shared a few "Star Wars Rebels" tidbits for season 3.
To celebrate May 4 with all other "Star Wars" geeks, "Star Wars Rebels" creator Filoni went on Twitter to give fans a few fun little teases for a few episodes in the upcoming season 3 of the series. The first tweet revealed the image of a foamy helmet with a few lines painted over it looking like a pair of eyes and brows.
Some fans guessed the image to be the recently blinded Kanan's new mask, some guessed it as Kanan's shoulder piece, and others pinned it out as Jaig eyes. Others jokingly linked the image to Marvel's very own Daredevil. Later on during the day Filoni revealed that the picture was supposed to be Captain Rex who would very much appear in "Star Wars Rebels" season 3 with his classic "Clone Wars" look.
Another "Star Wars" favorite who'll be appearing in the highly anticipated third season of "Rebels" is none other than the sleek and jazzy Lando Calrissian from the "Star Wars" original trilogy. According to an interview with Teekay-421, Lando's actor Billy Dee Williams had revealed that he'd be coming back to the "Star Wars" universe as the voice actor of Lando in "Star Wars Rebels" season 3.
