Another revision will be seen in "Basketball Wives: LA" as another cast member is reportedly leaving the reality series. Also, a former cast member in the Miami version was teased to join the LA team.
Aside from Draya Michelle, Mehgan James is exiting the show and will no longer appear in season 5.
The actress confirmed the news on May 12 through her Twitter account. She wrote, "You guys, I'm sorry, I'm not coming back to Bbwla. So if you were watching for me, don't lol Bc I'm not going to be on there."
Her fans did not like her exit on the show. A fan said she is the only reason why the season did not turn out to be boring. Another fan posted on her wall saying, "@MehganJames you were the only reason I watched it." James responded, "I know right, their loss. But the show must go on."
Apparently, James will be very busy with another project. In another tweet, the actress said "Buttttt I do start filming for another project next month. #iKEEPSaJOB. Don't get it twisted."
Meanwhile, a former "Basketball Wives: Miami" cast member, Jennifer Williams, was asked if she will join "Basketball Wives: LA," now that she is based in LA. Williams told VH1 that cast member Malaysia is her good friend and has been teasing her to join the show.
Williams added that Malaysia has asked her last year and her reply was, "'Hell no, I won't do it. I won't do it.' I recently went to brunch with her and she was trying to talk me into it and I said, 'I guess now that I'm back on reality TV it could kind of make sense. I know people are probably dying to see me on 'Basketball Wives: LA' because I feel like the show was named after me because I was a basketball wife. It kind of makes sense but I don't know. It's just kind of crazy because now I live in LA and now 'Basketball Wives: LA' is the only one that's on. I guess you gotta stay tuned for that and we'll see."
As of this time, there is still no official announcement regarding the final cast members, as well as the release date of the new season.
