Actress Bo Derek recently revealed to Closer Weekly the secret to her long-lasting relationship with Sex and the City star John Corbett.
"We both travel so much, so, for us, our favorite vacation place is home. That's where the romance is."
Bo, who remains stunning at 61, spends her time redecorating and showing affection to John at their 10.5 hectare property where the two let loose in showing each other love. Bo last appeared in Christmas in the Heartland in 2017 as Elsa Gentry.
Bo further reveals that it is the simple things that have made their relationship last.
"We enjoy each other's company; we make each other laugh. After 15 years we still hold hands; we still have barbecues with friends a couple times a week," she said.
The two, who have spent the last 15 years together after kicking off their romance in 2002 after a blind date, have never walked down the aisle and never felt the need to do so. The couple insists that they don't need rings to prove that they love one another.
But that's not all that's made their relationship work. In August 2017, John Corbett told FOX News that his faith also helped him stay grounded in the relationship. "I have a strong belief in God," says the Sex in the City actor, "I flew here from Los Angeles yesterday and I think I said three-to-four prayers before I got on the plane for my eternal soul if something happens on the plane."
John continues that he's a "gospel and brunch kind of guy," too: "Nothing says I love you Jesus more than gospel music and mashed 'potaters'" And when the call came for his recent movie All Saints, the actor admitted that he felt ready for it.
"This was just like being an altar boy again. I knew where everything was," he said.
