TV's Counting On star Josiah Duggar just might be ready for love again. After his split with Marjorie Jackson a few years ago, a recent reveal of the Duggar family's latest trip to Australia showed the Duggars playing host to a female guest – Lauren Swanson.
In photos captured of the Duggar's trip to Australia, Josiah and Lauren could be seen onstage the whole time, looking into each other's eyes and even signing books with "Lauren & Josiah Duggar." These actions have sparked speculations that the two are already courting but haven't made the relationship public just yet.
There is no official announcement of the courtship yet, but there is speculation among the Counting On fans that it may be timed with the release of the new season of the television series.
Back in March 2016, Josiah spoke to People about Marjorie Jackson after their split: "Marjorie and I had a good time together. We were just trying to follow God's lead on everything. She didn't feel that it was the right timing then, so we called it quits for a bit." The couple split after four months.
While Josiah and Marjorie's split is rare, given the family's tradition of going from a brief courtship into marriage, a passage from Marjorie Jackson's new book Devoted: A Girl's 31-Day Guide to Good Living With a Great God states that "God sees all communication, whether it's one-on-one or in cyberspace, and dating requires your dad or [any] trusted Christian spiritual leader first to weed out the creepers."
The passage in Marjorie's book has led to speculations about the split's possible link with Josiah's brother, Josh Duggar's scandals that previously rocked the TV family's ratings and public image. Josh Duggar's scandals include child molestation and infidelity. Josh was accused of molesting girls in his teenage years, with four of the victims being his own sisters.
