  Russian missile attack destroys shared headquarters of Christian charities in Kyiv, Ukraine

  A building accommodating offices for Danish Church Aid (DCA) and Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) was completely destroyed in Ukraine after a Russian missile attack – fortunately no one was hurt. The headquarters of the Christian charities came under fire when Russia fired ballistic and cruise missiles at Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city, on Monday, Sept. 2.

  Today, Sept. 5, Christians Against Poverty (CAP) released 'Deficit budget: the cost to stay alive', a landmark report highlighting that more than a fifth of adults in the United Kingdom (11.8 million or 22%) don't have enough income to pay for their basic needs. The new study based on YouGov polling reveals that each month, CAP clients lack an average of £273 ($360) to cover essential living expenses.

  French leaders report back on theological discussions at event on evangelical identity in Europe today

  Leaders of the Conseil National des Évangéliques de France (CNEF) have reported back from a key conference looking at evangelical identity in Europe in anticipation of the Lausanne Conference in South Korea later this month, September 2024. They pointed to what they consider the most suitable definition for evangelicals, recognizing the diverse cultural and historical contexts in which they live across Europe.
