Faith Without Frontiers

Faith Without Frontiers

Faith without Frontiers tells human stories from around the world where Christian faith meets culture, society, and politics. Through intimate interviews and lived experiences, the podcast explores how faith informs decisions, shapes communities, and influences public life—sometimes quietly, sometimes controversially, always in deeply human ways.

This is a podcast for listeners who value nuance, curiosity, and conversations that resist easy labels.

About the host:

Gordon Showell-Rogers’ lifetime of Christian service has given him the privilege of befriending a vast range of people internationally.

In these ‘conversations with Gordon’ we meet women and men behind their public stories. Gordon (who describes himself as having a ‘good face for radio’) finds out what drives old and new friends. With moments of both humour and pain, each episode points to Jesus, the Hope of the World.

In his life to-date Gordon has served as a high school teacher, local church assistant pastor, General Secretary of a national IFES movement (Austria), first National Director of Friends International (UK), General Secretary of the European Evangelical Alliance and Associate Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance. He currently serves as CDI’s International Director, facilitates the Global Leadership Team of the Refugee Highway Partnership, is vice-chair of World Without Orphans Europe and serves on the Operating Team of the Global Children’s Forum. Gordon and his wife have two married children, who have 5 growing sons between them, so there’s a lot of energy (and noise) in the home when the five cousins get together.
