Thousands of evangelical Christian teenagers and young adults from France and across Europe are expected to gather in central France this month for Echo 2026, a triennial youth event organized by Assemblies of God France.
The event is scheduled for May 15-17 at the Zénith d’Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand. Organizers said about 6,500 young people have already registered, according to statements published by the event and reported by Evangelique.info.
Echo 2026 will bring together participants ages 12 to 25 and older for worship services, workshops, conferences and recreational activities centered on the theme “Echo Infinite.” Organizers said the program is intended to encourage discussion about Christian faith and equip participants to share their beliefs in their local communities after returning home.
In promotional material published on the event website, organizers describe the theme as an invitation to reflect on “the infinitely small and the infinitely great” and to enter “the mission of the One who can do infinitely beyond all that we ask or think,” referencing Ephesians 3:20.
The gathering is organized by the French Assemblies of God movement and supported by MOOV 025, the denomination’s youth and children’s ministry department.
According to the event website, the three-day program will include large worship gatherings, youth-focused meetings, sports activities, exhibitor spaces and workshops aimed at teenagers and young adults.
The previous edition of Echo, held in 2023 at the same venue, also drew more than 6,500 participants, organizers said. In a statement cited by Evangelique.info, organizers reported an estimated 800 conversions and 600 baptism commitments during that event.
Echo is presented as a national and European evangelical gathering, with organizers expecting participants from multiple countries across the region.
