Minno, a leading provider of Christian content for children, announced it will release American Sign Language (ASL) versions of its flagship animated series, Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids, beginning Aug. 8, 2025.
The children’s streaming platform developed the ASL programming in partnership with Bridge Multimedia, which has worked with PBS Kids and Google. The project marks what Minno believes to be the first Bible series for children created in ASL.
“We’re building the most accessible Christian kids’ media platform in the world,” said Erick Goss, CEO and co-founder of Minno. “Every child deserves the chance to experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the way they learn best—whether through ASL, their native language or as a story at bedtime.”
In addition to ASL programming, Minno is expanding its Spanish-language offerings, with Portuguese content to follow. This fall, the company will debut Guillermo & Will, a dual-language Spanish-English preschool series created by Emmy-nominated puppeteer Donna Kimball. Spanish-language content is consistently among Minno’s top 10 most-watched programs on YouTube.
Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids currently includes 42 episodes and three 30-minute specials. Upcoming expansions include a new special, In the Beginning, as well as new episodes such as Daniel and the Lions, The Book of Songs, and The Family of Jesus. In addition to ASL and Spanish versions, the series will also be available in Portuguese and in audio-only formats designed for bedtime and screen-free time.
Recent additions to Minno’s content library include The Dead Sea Squirrels, created by VeggieTales co-creator Mike Nawrocki, and original titles such as Micah, Suni the Super Unicorn, and God’s Greenhouse, from KidMin creator Areo Keller Donahue. A new special, God’s Greenhouse Get Ready for Bed Special, is set to premiere Sept. 5.
Minno has experienced significant growth over the past year. The platform reported triple-digit growth in its subscription video-on-demand service, placing it among the top 1% of direct-to-consumer subscription companies. On YouTube, the company reached 1 million subscribers—a 150% year-over-year increase—and 122 million views in the past 12 months, ranking it among the top 0.06% of channels by subscriber count.
“This expansion is just the beginning for Minno,” Goss said. “We believe the opportunity to reach kids with high-quality Christian content during the most formative window of their lives is massive—and we're called to meet it.”
ASL versions of Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids will be available exclusively on Minno beginning Aug. 8. Families can subscribe at GoMinno.com.
