The community of evangelical communicators and leaders is already marking its calendar following the recent official announcement from the Christian media organization Confederación Iberoamericana de Comunicadores y Medios Cristianos (COICOM).

The organization announced that professional training and ministry networking events will be held in Houston and Guatemala City during the second half of 2026, with the goal of strengthening unity within the Church throughout the Americas.

The first event will take place in the United States from Aug. 10–12, 2026. Coordinated by CMC Houston, the event will be conducted entirely in Spanish and is aimed at the Hispanic community, offering a unique opportunity to strengthen strategic relationships among Christian media organizations.

Afterward, attention will shift to Central America for the Continental Congress in Guatemala, scheduled for Nov. 2–4, 2026. The conference will be hosted at La Cumbre Convention Center, where pastors, business leaders, and communicators will gather in a space designed to train, equip, connect, and mobilize participants through a comprehensive program and prominent speakers.

The agenda will include specialized sessions on cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence and digital marketing, while also emphasizing radio and podcasting.

Additionally, the Fexpocom Fair will provide a space where Christian organizations can network and form partnerships with institutional benefits to expand the reach of the Gospel.

The organization encourages members and media professionals to reserve these dates and participate in what promises to be a transformative experience. More details about registration for both congresses will be released in the coming weeks.

These announcements follow a period of renewal and a renewed commitment to ministerial excellence.

Recently, the organization underwent a leadership transition with the appointment of Mynor Vargas as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Under his leadership, the institution has reaffirmed its commitment to helping Christian communicators create a deeper impact in contemporary society.

In recent meetings, the movement has emphasized the importance of strategic unity to transform the current generation through media.

Leaders have consistently encouraged participants to pursue professional excellence while maintaining spiritual integrity.

This emphasis on excellence and unity has transformed the congresses from simple gatherings into platforms for continental mobilization.
