Global ministry Leading The Way, founded by Egyptian-American pastor and evangelist Michael Youssef, has launched a free digital tool designed to provide instant responses to questions about the Bible.

The tool, called MY Faith Assistant, is available on the ministry’s website and mobile app. It uses technology to deliver concise, Scripture-based answers and can connect users with pastoral care. Leading The Way said the platform is intended to help people explore faith questions and access Christian resources online.

According to the ministry, pilot testing recorded about 2,400 conversations covering 191 biblical topics. When users express urgent needs or indicate interest in salvation, the tool directs them to Leading The Way’s pastoral care team for follow-up. The assistant can also suggest sermons, Bible reading plans, and topical studies.

Youssef said the launch builds on the ministry’s history of using technology in evangelism, which has included shortwave radio and satellite television. “This assistant allows anyone — from the curious skeptic to the mature believer — to receive trustworthy answers rooted in Scripture,” he said.

Michael Tilley, the ministry’s chief marketing and communications officer, said the tool is designed to offer more than information. “Our vision is not merely to inform but to transform,” he said.

The initiative is part of the ministry’s multi-year “Open Door Campaign,” which seeks to expand its global outreach across multiple platforms. The assistant is currently available in the United States, with expansion to Canada, Europe and Australia planned for October 2025.

Such technology is one of a growing number of digital tools now being developed by Christian ministries to provide immediate access to biblical content and discipleship resources, reflecting a wider trend of integrating faith outreach with artificial intelligence and mobile platforms.

Founded in 1989, Leading The Way broadcasts Christian programming in multiple languages through television, radio and digital platforms. The ministry also operates a satellite TV channel, conducts evangelistic rallies and distributes solar-powered audio devices with biblical content.
