US State Superintendent orders Bibles to be studied in every Oklahoma classroom due to historical importance

Every school classroom in Oklahoma will teach about the Bible under a new directive by the State’s Superintendent, who pledges that he is ready to fight any legal challenges from opponents against his plan. Walters outlined his reasoning in a video recorded during a State Board of Education meeting, published on X. He said his staff had been looking at the statute and academic standards in Oklahoma, and came to a “crystal clear” conclusion about the importance of the Bible.
