Under the theme “A Clear Vision to Transform Our Generation,” the Ibero-American Confederation of Christian Communicators (COICOM) launched its long-awaited 2025 congress on Monday, Sept. 8, bringing hundreds of Christian media professionals, ministry leaders, and pastors to the Copantl Hotel Convention Center.
The three-day gathering is designed to train, equip, and mobilize Christian communicators across Ibero-America to engage culture and strengthen the church’s witness. Through plenary sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, organizers aim to help participants develop strategies to communicate the gospel more effectively in a rapidly changing media landscape.
The opening ceremony set the tone for a robust agenda of training, networking, and collaboration. COICOM leaders said the event seeks to provide practical tools for Christian communicators and to inspire a renewed commitment to transform society with a message of hope.
COICOM president Arnold Enns and national director Ana Belinda Colindres, together with the local organizing committee, have worked to bring the congress to Honduras for the third time.
“If we believe that training, connecting, mobilizing, and transforming are fundamental pillars, then we know that a country can have a great impact on society and on the church,” Enns said.
Colindres called COICOM “a space of unity, learning, and vision” and expressed hope that the event would mark “a before and after for those who communicate hope throughout Ibero-America.”
National coordinator Venancio Mejía added that organizers are praying for a spiritual impact on Honduras. “We want this Congress to leave a spiritual mark on this country that needs it so much,” he said. “I’ve seen how training opens doors, strengthens vision, and makes ministries grow.”

Attendees will have access to plenary sessions, more than 40 specialized workshops, and discussion panels covering topics such as leadership, pastoral ministry, radio, television, digital communication, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in sharing the Christian message.
More than 50 internationally recognized speakers, including pastor and author Benjamín Rivera, will share their expertise. In addition to training, COICOM 2025 offers extensive opportunities to build partnerships among ministries, media outlets, and churches.
Running alongside the congress, the FEXPOCOM exhibition fair showcases Latin American Christian ministries and organizations, highlighting resources, projects, and initiatives to foster collaboration and mutual support.
