  Mental health issues are largely “normalized” within Canadian churches but stigma about the problems still exist, according to a survey sample of 1,000 church leaders and churchgoers. The survey was featured in the first of four webinars on “What Canadian Church Leaders Should Know about Mental Health & Illness in their Congregation” hosted by Flourishing Congregations Institute (FCI) and supported by Ambrose University in Canada.

  More than 80,000 people celebrated Gospel Night in Buenos Aires

  For the second consecutive year, Gospel Night was held, an event organized by the Ministry of Culture of the City Government of Buenos Aires. The event brought together more than two thousand artists from different churches across the city and was attended by over 80,000 people, according to organizers.

  Catholic Bishops in Kenya decline presidential donation: 'Church must remain free from political influence'

  The Catholic Church in Kenya has returned financial donations from the country’s President and Nairobi Governor emphasizing its policy against political contributions. The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) released a statement on Nov. 14, which was read in all churches of the Archdiocese of Nairobi on Sunday (Nov. 17), where Archbishop Philip Anyolo reiterated the Church's position that politics has no place in the Church.

  At the opening ceremony of its new six-floor facility, the Hospital Evangèlic de Barcelona (Evangelical Hospital in Barcelona) in the second largest city in Spain celebrated a new phase in its nearly 150-year history - and also its new name. Previously known as Nou hospital evangèlic, the hospital hosted an event on Oct. 25 (2024) with leaders from the evangelical community and wider healthcare field gathered to show their support and appreciation.

  Christian publishing professionals gather for MAI LittWorld 2024: 'next generation eager to be equipped to share words of hope'
